Promethean People's Programs
Promethean World needed a cohesive internal brand system for their People's Programs — three HR initiatives each requiring a distinct identity

Learning@Promethean uses an open book form in purple and blue, grounding the mark in an immediately readable metaphor for the program's mission — a professional development platform offering online courses, tutorials, and certifications for educators worldwide.
The DEI mark deploys the full secondary palette across three overlapping figures — distinct colors representing individual identity, overlapping forms representing unity. The system needed to flex across four Employee Inclusion Groups (Gender Balance, Ethnicity Culture, Disability, and LGBTQ), each hosting their own annual events, making visual flexibility a core requirement.
The Promethean Ignite mark echoes the warmth of Promethean's flame logo through layered amber rings, reflecting the program's focus on holistic employee wellness across six dimensions. The organic, radiating form signals personal growth and energy without veering into clinical or corporate territory.
The Brief
Promethean World needed a cohesive internal brand system for their People's Programs — three HR initiatives each requiring a distinct identity: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Learning@Promethean; and Ignite. The programs spanned employee inclusion, professional development, and global wellness, each with their own audiences, events, and communications needs. Every identity needed to feel ownable and recognizable while living credibly within Promethean's established brand world.
The Approach
The design challenge was building three distinct identities that still felt like a family. Organic, rounded shapes were chosen to echo Promethean's existing brand system — its circular logo mark, rounded corners, and soft button forms — creating visual continuity across the sub-brand without mimicking the parent mark directly. Each logo drew from Promethean's secondary color palette, with color doing the work of differentiation.
Role
Sole Designer and Art Director. Logo system, color direction, art direction, web banners, intranet assets, and social media assets across three HR program identities. Contract engagement, nearly two years.
